CrimeCraft was originally released being a retail subscription based MMOFPS but has since relaunched as largely a no cost to learn game which has a cash shop. A large persistent city acts because game s lobby where players can form gangs accept missions buy new weapons and more. The actual gameplay aspects of CrimeCraft are just like all forms of other MMO shooters available with some in the major differences being the 3rd person camera angle along with the inability to jump. CrimeCraft uses the Unreal 3 engine which help the action stick out within the free to learn arena. The game currently supports 7 game modes which can be Turf War - Two teams battle for control over five strategic locations. The first team to manage all five points or even the team to control probably the most when time expires could be the winner.Snatch N Grab - A capture the flag game mode involving two teams.Robbery - Each team starts having a safe containing 100k in cash. Players must steal money from the opposing team s safe and convey it to their own. The team using the most cash at the end in the round wins.Shootout - Team deathmatch. Two teams compete to score essentially the most kills inside allotted time.Riot - Deathmatch or FFA mode. The player while using most points on the end from the round is declared the winner.Safegaurd - A PvE mode that pits several players against a wave of AI controlled rogues. Players must protect a weapons cache until the timer runs out.Stockpile - A PvE mode where players must recover supplies held by AI rogues. While players cannot hurt each other within this mode they do not share the loot the accumulate.
